The success of this dumpster-fire of a series has dumbed-down the entire racing game genre the same way Call of Duty made Fisrt-Person Shooters boring as fuck.

Every one after 3 is shit, I will agree, and even 3 is meh. But the first two are great, because they didn't have a chance to jew out by porting over PS2 models from 3 & 4, and it's miles ahead of Wipeout and Ridge Racer in it's track variance and tranny/suspencion tuning.
