German VS Japanese Luxury Sport

really there is no best, the competition is increasing and both have advantages and disadvantages.

I do have a preference for Lexus because I find them much more comfortable and want to own my cars for a long period without spending too much on maintenance. However for performance I would go for a BMW since Lexus is not that focused on those things, only just last year they have started so it will be a while till they come with something as good.

Also, I don't think of Infiniti and Audi as luxury vehicles, they are not near as the quality of the big three (Mercedes, BMW, Lexus)

modern german cars are too complicated in maintenance. audi looks good but is incredibly overpriced.

modern jap cars often have atrocious edgy design.
id go with jap anyway though.

BMW is a close second.

Depends on how much money youre willing to spend maintaining it, and how much sport you want with your luxury. Any lexus will be running long after german rivals have broken down. But german cars have lexus beat on the sport aspect, and i think if you dont mind spending a bit more, upper line german cars have lexus beat on luxury too

Americans currently make the best luxury sport cars.

Reason: Cadillac engineered the CTS and ATS to compete with the last gen 3 and 5 series, while BMW decided to make their current generation much softer to appeal to their middle management demographic.

Lexus is aight, but even their F series is more luxury than sport IMO

American luxury cars post 2016 can compete with Europe

CT6, Continental, new MKZ, Cadillac building a Bentley/RR rival, Cadillac building more SUVs, Lincoln bringing back the aviator.

German vs Japanese German cars are overall nicer, there are more options, the German cars have a sport model for every model, (M, AMG, RS) while Lexus has very few performance models.

Japanese have the advantage of reliability.
