Tried fixing a car for the first time and failed :(
Gotta start somewhere.

What did you try to fix? How did you fail?
>>16156577
You changed a car battery and left the protective caps on?
>>16156581
Replacing brakes, the brake line was worn on the cylinder end, so I decided to undo the other end and I snapped the brake line, it also took like 6 hours to get to this point.
>>16156731
That'll happen on older cars.
>>16156745
Is it bad, my parents called me an idiot for trying to do it myself.
>>16156751
It can be pretty bad.
Happened to me last week actually.
I just rebent the line a shorter route and reflared it.
I imagine you don't have many tools, so what you need to do is buy an entire line to replace it with.
Just take a trip to the junkyard and pick one up for squat.
You'll learn what needs to be taken off and how to not break it doing so.
Depending on your car this could suck though.
Some people will just cut the line and splice it, but again I imagine you can't flare.
If you want to ultimate nig you could cut the line at the junkyard at an easy to get part, then compression fitting it together.

You have shitty unsupportive parents, you have to fail sometimes to succeed
>>16156788
Hopefully the local ones will have an early 90s accord
>>16156997
Can't imagine a junkyard that doesn't have an early 90s Accord sitting around, really.
>>16156577
Why are you even here then?
Idiot.
>>16158287
Fuck off, nerd.
>>16156577
So try again but fix what you did wrong.
>>16158317
try saying that to my face you fucking faggot and see what happens
>>16156731
This is the life of old shit man. Good news is next time it'll be easier.
>>16156577
That's called learning, mate.
You'll get there. The good thing is it's pretty hard to permanently fuck up a car.
