Bikes like the R3, RC390, and Ninja300 are generally considered terrible beginner bikes because of how much they cost. I suppose in a scenario where you don't care money and you're willing to admit that you're a retard that wants to waste money for no reason, then something like the R3 would be a cool beginner bike to get. But besides that, they are overpriced by about $3,500+ and offer literally nothing.

Bikes like the Ninja 250 would offer the same learning experience and be a much better overall value.

If you're feeling cocky and want to get something that is slightly faster than a 250 but wont be overwhelming, then just get a SV650. There is absolutely no reason to waste $4000+ on a brand new meme bike that you will replace within a few months anyways.

Buddy has some beat to shit tiny ass bike that I don't even know the make of, let alone the model of, and there's a track nearby that some go kart league occasionally uses. Another friend knows the guy who organizes the league and pulled some strings to let us run around with the bike after their race, while slightly drunk if we brought the beer and they could join in.

So there are 12 of us, all slightly stumbly buzzed, wearing helmets with radios, trying to drive a bike around a bunch of obstacle courses while everyone is shouting directions at them. Everyone fell over repeatedly trying to go around corners.

10/10 fun. Would recommend, and I don't even ride.
