What do you br/o/s think about the ram ecodiesel. Thinking about buying a 2014 one over a similar year ford or gm

>muh modern piccup truccs
More or less the same.
>diesel
Sounds better. A bit better on efficiency. I'd do it.
>bu bu but muh ecoboost
Heh. Meh.
>>16147277
If i were getting a ferd it would be the 5.0 with 4x4 and cheby would be 5.3 4x4. The only reason i wouldnt get a hemi because i have a 2 buddys with an older and a newer ram that just replaced the motors at around 100k miles and a buddy whos dad blew up his helcat under 20k so i was completely turned of by chrysler products until the ecodiesel. Do they last?

>considering a ram truck
>not a cummins engine
into the trash it goes
>>16147297
>will any modern, comf interior vehicle last?
Why are you considering modern pickups? They're more or less just an exposed SUV with an identity crisis.
Unless you have a specific need for a bed or need heavy towing, an SUV may be a better choice for you.
Even then, older SUVs are more reliable as well. "Last longer" hehe. Sorry anon
>GM
Not getting based Nissan Titan Cummins
>>16147335
>nissan anything
What the fuck is wrong with you.
>>16147317
Yeah i haul a skid of tiles almost every day and do about 250km a day so i really do need a newer truck so it will last me and be reliable. I havent had any luck with used older trucks for more than one year. They would just start falling apart piece by piece. Although i havent had a duramax or cummins but fuck the 6.7 powerstroke
>>16147335
Quite frankly for 60k id rather get a duramax lmm and have enough money to rebuild the whole engine bay. Twice.
>>16147297
I had to replace my engine in my hemi at around 105k
>>16147717
>for 60 odd k
It starts at $44k, a few thousand more than the eco diesel 1500 Ram in question.
