tfw to large to drive a miata

I'm 6'3". I've never been in a miata before, but I'd love to own one. What is too large (height and width) for a miata?

Can't say for width but for height my friend is 6'7" and he has issues fitting in it. I'm about 5'10 and I fit in it just fine with room to spare.

6'4 here. I found it was more of a leg room thing than head room. It did feel very tight and cramped at all times despite me not smashing my head against the roof/crushing my knees into the dash.

It's the legs. You know how when you're this tall, even with the seat all the way back you have to spread your knees around the steering wheel? Well in a Miata the pedals are close enough together and close enough to the wheel that the angle your legs are at ends up causing your knees to bang into the door and center.

6'4 280lbs here and the wheel was almost impossible to turn because it was in my knees and without a roof headroom isn't an issue because my head was above the windshield, passenger seat on the other hand is pretty comfy and allows ample headroom

5'11", 32" inseam, 190lb.

I have never been able to comfortably fit in a Miata, NA-ND. Headroom was always an issue with the roof crossmember. The new one is ooooh so close, but having owned a Del Sol and a TT (both have gobs of headroom) I'm spoiled. I refuse to drive a sports car in a lowrider seating position.

With the ND an extra 1" would have made all the difference.

Miata's confirmed designed for manlets.

I have slightly shorter legs for my height and I carry more of my height in my torso / arms. (I'm not an orangutan, tho. kek) My arms are 34", while my inseam is 32", so I guess I should buy older Italian cars. kek

I've wanted a Fiat 124 since ... well, a long time. I sat in the launch edition model at the dealer and I just couldn't put my hand between my scalp and the roof without touching so I wrote it off.

Most of us are taller in the morning than at bedtime. For me it can me as much as 0.5" (1cm). I once bought a Honda one night just before closing that was marginal. The next morning all I felt was my hair brushing against the sunroof. 3 weeks later it was my wife's car.

Thanks for the advice. I should look at them again because I've wanted a Spyder Abarth for months. But I need to be comfortable.
