And it certainly looks a hell of a lot better.

It's still fast.
0-60 in a little over 4 seconds and top speed at about 200 mph, doing 1/4 mile in under 12 seconds.
On top of all that you can easilly get more power out of the engine. It's quite an impresive piece of engineering.
