Getting a new car, and dropping the rusty old man buick I have currently.
Im stuck in trying to decide if I want, and I really only want two things. For it not to get stuck in the winter (Michigan here) and for it to be idiot proof when it comes to the clutch, as it will be my first manual.
Ive driven manual before plenty of times, but I'll be daily driving this.

The GTS most likely. But Im concerned about the snow. I would get all weather tires, but still.

Don't worry about picking rwd for winter, it'll be fine. Just get decent winter tyres with studs
North europe has no problem with rwd in winter.

Driving a RW in the snow is the most retarded shit I've ever heard.

It's the cheapest car for the power. 5.6s 0-60, and the block can handle boost for more power. Not the best performance platform, but it sure does the job.
OP also doesn't want a powerful RWD that he could spin out if he revmatches wrong or drops the clutch. Understeer is always easier to handle than oversteer.
