GM sells Cadillac to Ford. Ford sells Lincoln to GM. what happens?

All Cadillac's cars apart from the Escalade would go FWD or FWD-based AWD.

Lincoln will get sportier RWD cars and for the first time you would see a head-to-head between a lincoln and a BMW.

It still disappoints me that Ford doesn't let lincoln make their own stuff like Cadillac does. Cadillac designed the Alpha and Omega platform and are working on a V8 for said platform.

Ford would NEVER in a million years let lincoln do anything like that. the last RWD lincoln that could even remotely be considered "sporty" was the lincoln LS and i think the only reason that car existed was because of Jaguar. Ford is like Honda in the sense that if they didn't have the Mustang they would be allergic to mainstream RWD and anything with more than 8 cylinders.
