Hey guys, my jeep liberty took a massive shit and now I have to get a new car. Normally I would have gone for a wrangler...but I am kind of disappointing with jeep (I literally threw money at this thing every 1000 miles).
I am looking for a gas efficient reliable car...and I know it might seem stupid but I wnted to see what your opinions would be? I am torn between Subaru Impreza/outback, Civic hatchback (fucking hate Honda but reliability and all that shit) and some people are trying to convince me to get a Hyundai because they aparently reliable, besides looking like shit.
Thank you in advance!

Mazda3 is also reliable (more so than the Civic these days because it doesn't have a turbo or CVT). Smaller backseat than the Civic and a noisier cabin, but they drive well.
Hyundais drive like Toyotas - you'll fall asleep from boredom.

Thirded... Corolla like the most reliable car in l'whoreld.
Honda reliability is below American brands these days, it's dropped a lot from it's rep in the 90s. Toyota (even Toyota reliability is dropping, more recalls, cutting corners, etc.) is "good" (aka barely acceptable by my standards), Lexus is top of the industry, so it's actually "acceptable".
Cars should NEVER break. Why can't we make a goddamn simple mechanical piece of shit machine that doesn't have a million parts breaking and needing to be replaced all the time? Just fucking work, I spent tens of thousands of dollars on you, just fucking operate properly.
