Hi /o/.
Any PT cruiser owners around?
A guy at work was looking to get rid of his and iv always thought they looked cool.
How heavy are they on maintenance?
Pretty heavy like any Chrysler and their engine compartments are not only cramped but laid out in a completely unholy way to make their unusual aesthetics possible. Also they're generally shitty cars unless they're the GT package.

It is a neon, only heavier.
The chrysler neon, not the plymouth.

PT cruisers are pretty bad compared to most shitty American cars, which is saying something. Although that's still better than the average bong car
It's a Dodge Neon with a truck-type body that Chrysler put on to get around average gas mileage rules and regs.
So it's a Neon with EVERYTHING MADE TO BE FUCKING RETARDED. Hint: If you need access to the battery, it's located in front of the wheel and requires taking the entire front bumper and fender off. Everything is downhill from there.

buy a used HHR instead. Parts are dirt cheap and it gets30-36 mpg too.
Pretty shitty. Mom had one for a decade.
Dashboard, and really the entire interior is made out of shitty plastic that started cracking. Dashboard literally split apart. All the air vents broke out. Headliner of course started falling. Leather on the seats split apart. All the electrical started shorting out. Fog lights had to be de-wired, interior lights had to be de-wired to prevent the battery from shitting itself. Fuse locations just stopped working.
This wasn't an abused car. A middle-aged woman drove it to and from Piggly Wiggly on the weekends and that's about it.
1/10 looked really cool for 3 years but that's about it.
