I know they're easy to break. There's not much I can do if someone actually means to steal my car. It's just to prevent crimes of opportunity when I hang out at the shithole neighborhoods my friends live or scummy, homeless-ridden downtown
Also we've had immobilizers for about 25 years now.
If cars at stolen at all nowadays, they're loaded into the back of a truck, not actually driven away themselves.
