So my '11 Fiesta SE is throwing a Crankshaft sensor code

Jesus fuck. Not a good advertisement for Focus at least not the SE version. Yes, if the transmission is that shit it's not hard for me to imagine it scrying up the crank shaft to engine brake down hill hundreds of miles.

Are the manual ones just as bad? I thought about buying a early Fiesta Hatchback 5spd with 100-120k miles as a daily for $4-4500

These cars are literal pieces of white for transmissions. This is a well known issue there is currently. A class action lawsuit in Canada over the shit transmissions that haveaffected tens of thousands

My current pos Civic burns 1qt/1500 miles, has a crapped out IACV, leaks water into the cabin through a rusted out windshield channel on the roof, leaks water into the trunk, could use struts, it's loud annoying and uncomfortable, and I've already spent a good amount refreshing the suspension and doing basic maintenance (clutch/timing belt/water pump)

At this point I'm shopping for a replacement.

I had a rental Fiesta back in 11 or 12 and the thing was literally rattling like a can of pennies and it had less than 10k miles on it. Those things are garbage.
