Audi won a bunch of times yet I can't name a single one of their winning cars. The GT40 gets its dick ridden all the time. The 917 is nothing in comparison.

The homologous Lemans cars are "underrated" because there is and extremely small amount of them. Gear heads who are into foreign (to America) cars will know very well what each one of these cars is and what they were meant for. The normal joe won't have an idea in the idea in the world because none of these cars were ever in the media lime light (causing deaths, being in movies, etc).

The Ruf CTR2 isn't really know because it didn't do anything real note worthy like its predecessor (being the worlds fastest production car). Because of that people have no interest. Also, I know this will upset a few, Porsches are generally dull looking cars. Not exactly outrageous and exciting to parade around on tv, in movies or to look at. They're out there in their own way m, but compared to a yellow lambo or a red Ferrari, it mind as well be a Honda Civic. That appearance thing also applies to the Carrera GT, though I would never say that was a "underrated" car to begin with.
