Not much to be honest. I am really on the fence about buying a 1000cc sport bike. The only reason I want to buy it is to feel the rush of the power for the first time...the same way I felt when I first rode my 600 and the same way I felt when I first got my 250....it's intoxicating

I know the excitement will fade eventually but it's not a bad thrill for only $2500-$3500. With winter right around the corner, I don't know if it's a wise decision.

Swapped the exhaust manifold and downpipe to a catless version from an older 306 because I could not find a phase 3 mani+cat from the scrappy. Had to do an oil filter conversion as well in order to get the oxygen sensor in place. Also made a silly looking air filter setup from a cheap cone filter until I can find a suitable enclosed air filter. All in all a nifty learning experience. Didn't even take that many peers to get the thing going and it's surprisingly nippy for a TU5 engine. Also don't get your panties in a bunch about the picture, there are several jackstands under the car.

about a year ago I went to a highly recommended BMW mechanic to do a basic diagnosis on my E46, he told me to stay on the right lane and to never drive it again until it got fixed. Over 6k worth of repairs.

I haven't done anything but oil changes and basic fluid replacement. About to hit two years with it
