Doubt it'll be specifically the Everest, but the new Bronco is based on the Everest platform, which itself is built on the global Ranger chassis. Ironically, the Everest is more true to the original Explorer than the current Explorer.

This. It's just going to be the South American/Asian market Ford Everest with a boxier fascia to look more in line with the F150 and an optional removeable rear top. It'll probably ship with 2.0, 2.3 and 2.7 liter ecoboosts and offer a diesel option from the European market Ranger. Not that any of this is bad. The Everest is fucking great. The only reason why the Foretuner sells better is the Toyota reliability meme, which is increasingly becoming less true.
