Around commuter college campuses are the worst. I am amazed I haven't been hit yet after 4 years of driving to school. It seems like it is more likely than not that any car that you look at will have someone texting. And it is definitely more common in women for reasons already posted here. They are disconnected with what goes on outside their vehicle and they also are more social so they text more in general.

I have a rational fear of white SUVs because nearly all my near misses have been with them. A brand new Cadillac SUV almost went straight into my tin can Civic's driver door at 30+ MPH because the cunt ran a stop sign coming off the Interstate. All I saw when I looked to my left was Cadillac grille. I swear time slowed down as I whipped the wheel hard to the right then hard to the left to force the rear so slide out of the way. I heard her car lightly rub my rear bumper.

Of course she saw nothing and kept right on going without even touching the brakes. I wish I could go back and take my anger out on her since my sister was in the passenger seat. This is why I have a dash cam now.
