If you want to, put some coilovers and get some anti-roll bars. It's pretty cheap to buy some new headers too, and a better intake manifold.

I know a guy who spent under 1k building a VR6 to 220 hp (from base 160). It wouldnt be too expensive to do the same. Do you have the 1.8L or 2.4L?
