Fistly, that is not just a WRX, but an STi.

I Sold a near-stock '06 STi with 65k miles 2 years ago for 20k. The guy is absolutely full of shit ( "don't ask for qtr. mile time - I don't abuse my vehicle," then he goes on to talk about his mods ).

I'd pay no more than 16k for that. The guy seems like a class-A dickwad.

STis hold their value better than almost any other car.
Its also very low miles and has a freshly rebuilt motor, so its basically like new, if the owner is to be believed.
That said, that 26k would be better spent on a 2012 or newer wrx honestly.
Nobody is going to pay that much for a modded hawkeye.

My friend in Wisconsin just bout the LS400 for $650 cause some idiot hardwired a failing fuel pump, and had a blown fuse on something else. Car would barely run.

Replaced pump, and fuse, did minor wiring, found a vacuum leak, and a dirty crank sensor. $30 in repairs. He can flip it for $3k if he wants, but its gonna be his winter beater. lol
