I couldn't get it all out but there's a little bit of grim got on the rolling part of the rocker arm. Will my cam lobes be okay?
It was a little bit of that shit that builds around the outside valve cover gasket that fell in. I got most of it off but there is still some in that tiny part. Will it damage my cam lobes? These are brand new performance cams.
Just pour some oil over it and let the filter pick it up later

I thought about that.. It's already closed up though. Is it worth re-opening the whole thing and such. The shit that fell in is just engine grime. It was a tiny amount too.

>grime
>that fell in
>a tiny amount
If it's heavy enough to fall in, then it's enough to do some real damage. What about all the grime that fell in that you didn't see? Clean your engine before removing the valve covers next time.

I would have removed as much as I could with a rubber coated dental pick, then sprayed the shit out of it with brake cleaner, then put some oil on it.
As for you situation now? Just pray that there was no hard metal in the shit that fell in.

Pull coil wire(s) , crank for awhile so oil flushes it.
Nah, it won't do damage.

3valve eewww. I would be more concerned about your cam bearings than the little bit of grime.

want to know how i know you dont actually work on internals?

Oh yeah? How so?

Heres a nice shot with some of my favorite shit on this planet that comes in a nice red can.
