My first modern shitbox was a ford tempo. Which would be Ford's entry if there were a shitbox olympics. You can say that the escort was more of a shitbox but atleast some people like the escort.

Anyhow it wasn't actually the bad of a car, aside from the automatic seat belts trying to strangle you every once in a while. It's main problem was being unbelievably boring.

Only had the check engine light come on once, and that was because I forgot to plug the maf back in after replacing the airfilter. All that has gone wrong, at 246xxxkm is a strut mount broke due to me jumping it a lot, alternator bearing piled up, and the power steering fluid reservoir cracked. Power steering never worked anyway.
