What is it like and how is it in the rain

makes driving easymode. in the GT86 it lets you drift like a champion, or drive completly neutral with all available grip, depending on your throttle input.
far as rain goes, your tires does 99% of the work there.

>torsen differential
in a rear axle or a central diff on an awd car?

rear axle. '91 miata with a 1.8l engine out of a '95
Also have an 86, it's totally unnoticeable if you're not driving like an idiot on the street, a little bit of tire slip on a tight turn with some power applied, like say making a u turn.
wtf are you worried about anon? Did someone tell you it would turn the car into a dorifto machine? There's a reason it's the most common diff type sold in production cars.
I've got a torsen in my '97 miata and I DD it. In daily driving there isn't really any difference from open unless you're breaking traction. Drifting feels great though and you get a lot more traction in rain and snow.

the guy selling the car to me was scared of me dailying it for someone reason. He didnt daily it himself but im not a pussy.

I mean it helps that these cars have absolutely no power whatsoever. Traction will never be an issue.
I do and it is awesome. It makes sliding easy to sustain or recover from. It also allows you to accelerate slightly more quickly from a stop without losing traction.
