Old NSX
>near-supercar performance with Honda Accord reliability and comfort
>timeless Pininfarina styling
>well engineered and didn't need gimmicks to compensate
New NSX
>can't stand out from supercar competitors because it's priced and designed like any other supercar
>not practical enough to daily, not fast enough to be a track monster
>driving experience numbed by a thousand layers of wires and software between the driver and the road
>not enough electric power to be a true EV, not pushing any technological boundaries
>styling that will get old in a decade
Has there ever been a worse sequel?
>honda accord
>comfort
kek

Is also ugly

>>16045257
>not practical enough to daily
Aside from not having backseats, why not?
>near-supercar performance
it was slower than turbo 4cyl family sedans and rx7s that cost waay less (even slower than the 3000gt lol)
>can't stand out from supercar competitors because it's priced and designed like any other supercar
it beats everything short of million dollar hypercars and track cars that happen to be street legal
>driving experience numbed by a thousand layers of wires and software between the driver and the road
so youve driven both models and compared your experiences? or just conjecture?

Smaller trunk than a McLaren/R8/Vette, no door pockets, I don't even think there is a glove box. Odd considering it was sold as a "everyday supercar." An R8 or 570GT is better in that regard.

New NSX:
Designed by Americans and it shows
Designed by a woman and it shows
These reason are reason enough that it was going to be a colossal stuttering cluster fuck of a failure
>>16045371
>reeeeeeee
Reminder that she wasn't responsible for the whole car. She was brought in midway through development to fix the overheating problems, which she did.
>designed by Americans and it shows
This is more German than anything. The American way is fat tires, aero, big engine, good suspension, fuck the rest. I wish it was more American, if only so it would be lighter, cheaper, and have a manual.
>>16045391
>lighter
BAHAHA.
I agree with the manual.
Also the suspension would have been worse off

>>16045257
Is it wrong that looking at those two images, I Really want to drive the old NSX? Like, I just REALLY want to take it out for a spin... goddamnit.
>>16045650
Goddamn I miss Mitsubishi.
>>16045257
>Has there ever been a worse sequel?
Have you been keeping in touch with BMW's lineup for the past 10 years?
>>16045257
>Honda Accord comfort
The best thing with the NSX is that you could have it without sound insulation, stereo and power steering
>>16045332
The 3000GT VR-4 was in no way a slow car, nigger.
Old NSX
>overpriced and overhyped
>slower than cheaper cars
>looks like a cheap kit car that looks 10 years older than it is
>horrid fanbase
New NSX
>Follows tradition perfectly by being experimental
>still perfectly practical much more so than the original
>is an amazing performance car
>muh feels is all you fanbabbys have to go on
>the original NSX didnt do shit
>doesn't look like a cheap kit car
wowsers the original NSX sure is shit
>>16045362
Was the original NSX truly the ultimate driving machine?
Also lol at pigfat Supra being so slow.
