Whats do you think will be a under 7k fun track/hoon car of 7 years from now
>>
Already priced that low? Looks like I'm going to get me a fun car after college.
>>
>>16045074

the side made it already look bloated alone and those faggots ALSO made the sideskirt hang like a pig belly.

the FUCK did they smoke

I say just get 1M bumpers and side skirts and your good to go.
>>
135i has such an ugly hump that took them fix in the 2 series.
>>
>>16045143
Still has that disgusting bent-down line in the middle.

>>

>>
>>16045388
Yeah, but maintenance on those cars is going to be horrendous
>>
a worthwile N54 135i will not be sub 7k
128i's will be, and the N52 is a better engine if you want reliability.

even good E46 330ci's are just reaching 7k and they made a shit ton more of those than any 1 series cars.
>>
$7k in 7 years?

NC miata (beat ones are nearly there already)
86/frs/brz
Late model RX8s
Last gen Rustang and Camaro
E46 M3 and e39 m5 (nearly there already)
>>
>>16045602

i'd like to add the hyundai genesis, it might be kinda shit but it's still a rwd coupe with decent power plants
>>
>>16045626
No that's a great option for a cheap quick beater.

Don't forget the 370z, at least the older ones. I think some 350s are already there or near enough.
>>
>>16045559
Anyone who buys an e46 330 to drive hard is driving a time bomb. The alum 3l has really bad vibrations and harmonics at high rpm and will eventually shake itself apart. It sucks because it's a nice, light engine that would be great without the issues

Sorry: https://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/23212248

Might pick it up in a few weeks. $14,900 with 50k miles. And free DCI thrown in.

I second the Genesis coupe. 3.8 R-Spec with manual are really good deals.
>>
>>16045728
This. The 86 will be seen as the s-chassis of the 2010s.

Not bad, they really fixed the 1 series design with the 2 series but I agree.

The straight side skirt and lifted bumper makes a big difference. Although I think the straight side skirt should be a bit lower.
>>
>>16045768
that looks shit.

all it needs is a straight sideskirt nothing else.

and the new 1 series has a straight sideskirt.
>>
>>16045819
>all it needs is a straight sideskirt nothing else.
the car is as tall as a skycraper, the sideskirt is the smallest problem

>>
>>16046819
Its supposed to be small lol just get a 3 series if your too fat to fit and need a cup holder you amerifat.

I will concede soft suspension, open diff and questionable styling is not the best but when you drive this car you forget all that. Absolute rocket ship of a car and all of the those things are fixable, get some coilovers and a 1m kit and tune and exhaust done and your driving a 400hp beast.

I don't think they are selling well, and I have a fear that this will be the only generation we see, but I think as they reach the used market people will appreciate what great driving cars they are.

Everything about this car is great except the engine. It needs a V8.

I thought australia was memeing with these prices, but then I checked and the R34 GT-R here already goes for $40-70k, could get a 2010> R35 for around that or even less.

R32's... you're better off importing them because there aren't any.

Every reviewer seems to disagree with you.

Besides, the GT-R and Z/28 are both fatter and handle amazing.
>>

Ugly potato, will never be classic.
>>
>>16049321
>fatter and handle amazing.

Lmao you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. Pretty words don't negate physics.
>>
>>16049355

>Z28s and GT-Rs dont handle amazing

More weight just means bigger components, fatter tires that grip more, larger brakes that stop more, etc.
>>
>>16049352

F=ma

Come back when you have passed high school physics dude. I never said those cars don't handle well, but it's lipstick on a pig compared to something lighter with similar effort put in like say a Lotus, even a well built no power Miata will destroy those cars on a tight enough course.
>>
>>16049430

A Z28 handles better than a lotus

Like I don't know what to tell you

also since when is 104.7 inches a super short wheelbase? a e30 m3 was 100 inches and a fd rx7 is 95 inches.

the open diff is the only actual drawback.
