What's the opinion on pic related. Nissan scum aside, there's a nice one near my house. What do you think
Noodle chassis
Constantly in bad condition thanks to drifter fuccbois
Rice taxed to hell and back

Not as cheap as people remember them being. Baseline back in the day was, with inflation counted, the same price as an frs/brz new to couple thousand more depending on year.
It's a good car. Ignore people calling it a wet noodle, that only comes from the fact that most are beaten to shit. If you can find one in good condition, go for it.
The interior isn't going to be that nice, because it's a cheap 90s car. It'll need work no matter what. Don't buy one unless youre mechanically inclined.
I've been looking for an S13 Coupe for so long

Don't talk shit about my Nii-san

The only ones worth buying are those still owned by the people who bought them new and haven't fucked with them. Everything else is either hacked up or overpriced to shit, and has been beaten on for years.
And they aren't particularly good cars in stock form either.

if we simply go Silvia/240SX in general i know a guy who picked up a clean chassi model with base engine and automatic for under $1000 just last year. This was in midwest N/A.
The cheap ones still exist but you have to dig. Overall i like the car and would happily have one if one popped up for a crazy good price but i wouldn't go to length to purchase one.

Trash. Stick to muh v8s
Brakes are shit.
Most have an open differential.
Most are 4 lug.
Most have a sunroof which cuts into helmet room.
Steering ratio is kind of slow.
Seats are made for fat people.
Basically they need $3-$4k of work before they can be considered a competent chassis. I'm speaking of the US version 240sx of course.
(I've owned 5 of them)
