i love city driving, i have to go to central london most weeks, its getting worse and worse there, last time i went it took me around 4 hours to get 4 deliveries done (around 10 miles combined)

also london city has started introducing 6.6ft width limits around its smaller streets and residential areas, this is fine as i am within that, however they have huge metal fucking barriers and its always on a tight corner so i have to get my fucking 6.5 meter van through the barrier and round a tight corner without touching the metal barrier, those things will rip the shit out of your paintwork

im at the point where im just paying all my loans off, got 999/999 credit , and im going to jew out on van maintenance, just do what needs doing+ major mechanical works + oil changes etc

I actually enjoy city driving as long as the traffic isnt insane,highway driving can get pretty boring, and it puts me on more edge than city driving. windows down 70 degree weather is nice as fuck to drive in. and manuals are only more fun when you can actually use them.

As someone who almost daily has to drive through downtown San Francisco i can say FUCK NO!
People are fucking idiots.
No one know hows to fucking merge and people always get stuck blocking intersections trying to make it through a Yellow. Then no one can move and everyone has to sit through another set of lights.

Germany here. It's okay and fairly civilized, but you have to be careful as hell of the braking of whoever is in front of you and keep enough distance to react because some assholes here brake extra hard on purpose to try and get others to rear end them for the insurance money.

Apart from that it's not a huge problem. The biggest danger I saw was a 3 lane road (2 in the opposite direction, 1 in my direction) where a pensioner wanted to take the left lane opposite me but merged one lane too many and therefore was driving on the wrong side of the road without noticing it at first. Once he saw me coming he realized he fucked up and I had enough space to go past so it wasn't a big deal or anything.
