Personally stance doesn't interest me. I prefer to see the machine being driven, or just used as it was engineered to be used, instead of just being looked at. One thing I like about stance though is the fact that the cars use high quality performance parts, and have work put into them

It serves zero functional purpose and in fact has a negative effect on drivability

I drive an 8th gen civic si and it hurts me to see that everyone else that has this beautiful car chooses to fuck it up.

Also this car is already horrible on anything not a perfectly smooth road. I can't imagine how awful it would be to make your ride even worse and deal with constant scraping and hearing your car break

It's detrimental to the car's performance, safety, handling, lifespan, ability to traverse terrain other than perfectly flat roads, and in most peoples' opinion, its appearance as well. It offers absolutely no quantifiable advantages over abstaining from it, and only one subjective advantage: the adoration of a reprehensible group of people that anyone respectable shouldn't be associating with in the first place.

Stancing a car is like spreading salt water all over your frame to rot it faster on purpose. It's like ruining your piston rings on purpose so you burn oil because you think the blue smoke looks cool. It's like breaking your legs on purpose because you were envious of people in wheelchairs not having to walk.
