Do you name all your spanners?
>>16032217
>>16032240
OP here
I'm poor so I don't have any spanners
I so wish that I had a proper rolling cabinet for my tools
>>16032301
Just gotta get lots of adapters and extensions and you can improvise anything!
>>16032334
I was just shopping for some of these to use with my little cordless impact gun. Couldn't find them anywhere, ended up having to get a set at Harbor Freight because they're the only place that had them locally.
>>16032329
My side of the work room
>>16032329
I need to get down on a one of those little drawer things for hardware and loose screws
>>16032338
I just got them at Ace. Harbor Freight would've been cheaper but Ace is right down the street.
Where were you looking? In the socket section? Because that was the mistake I made and then I found them by the drill and driver bits. I already had a set but it's one of those things you can never have too many of since they disappear and you can't find them when you need em.
>>16032329
comfy
I'm seriously considering buying one of those 72" Horrible Freight boxes to clean this mess up.
>always go with craftsman
Subaru fag here. My whole career is in this cart. I need to upgrade boxes I'm at capacity.
OP here
I don't got a whole lot of tools but I got enough to do basic stuff
I also got a ratcheting screwdriver set so that's nice
>>16032533
Your box is ugly :l
is this a workbench thread?
>>16032573
OP here
Yes
>>16032560
OP here again
It was 50 bucks I don't really care how it looks
>>16032598
300$ used for mine. Off the mac truck
>>16032573
What am I looking at? I see clutch packs from an auto, a couple of shafts from a manual, motorcycle cylinders, then above the shift forks I don't even know
>>16032625
OP here
I would like to have a nice Snap-On or Matco box but I'm a poorfag so a 50 dollar hospital crash cart will do just fine
>>16032631
>motorcycle cylinders
well there's your answer
>>16032637
>50$ hospital crash cart
Audibly keked
Check your tool trucks they always have used trade in boxes that's how I got mine.
>>16032637
Where did you get it from? I would love a little rolling cart like that but I'm not tryin to pay a shit ton of money on something that is going to get thrown around the garage. I'm not tryin to impress my oil tech coworkers like these dudes with their Snap On boxes.
That hospital cart probably had better wheels than most rolling tool carts under $1000 anyway.
>>16032655
OP here
One of our customers came by and asked if anyone wanted a toolbox then told me to make him an offer. Check Home Depot or Harbor Freight for one similar though
>>16032329
I so wish I had a garage at all...
>>16032845
At my last house I had a smaller garage and the washer and dryer were in there so with a few other random boxes there wasn't a ton of room. I always wanted a workbench too but I was renting that place so it wasn't even worth it.
The two car garage at the house I moved into a month ago might be the best thing about the house.
>>16032524
Holy fuck I hate moving those things. Whose bright idea was it to have 4 swivel casters on them?
>all these millionaires on /o/ with garages or rooms dedicated to /o/
>>16032533
I like your box and would use it. Get some drawer liners, though.
Here's my tool trolley when I bought her brand new
>>16033739
+1. Especially if you keep it in thr garage where it can get humid, the tools and drawers will get rekt.
The liners are cheap. Lowes sells the Kobalt ones with rust inhibitors, I think I paid $3 or $4 per roll and one roll should be enough for OP's cart.
>be me
>buy a project car
>put it at my dads place (divorced parents)
>allot of room, grease pit, tools. perfect place to do this in a reasonable time
>dad decides to sell the fucking place 1 month later
>it's a shit hole so i don't really think it would sell
>the house fucking sold 1 week later for a ridiculous amount of €€
>dad buys my mothers place, & she moved out. garage has been re-decorated and is now a sleep room
>fml
>try to rent a garage
>~300€ regular for a box where it just fits in
>unable to do jack shit to it
>can't even start a little project
fuck me

One of my coworkers has this and it's a really nice cart, but the shelf that comes with it is garbage. Is there some kind of upgraded shelf available for this unit? My HF cart can't take much more abuse after a year. Some of the slides are starting to give way.
>>16034073
Is that a rare pepe.

OP here
Never thought of it I'love definitely look into it
>>16034242
>dat wood paneling
I really do need a couch in my garage. Or I could bring the tools in the living room. I got my little folding lounge chair in here for now.
>>16034380
See >>16034139
They are cheap and definitely worthwhile.
>>16032637
>50 dollar hospital crash cart will do just fine
Kek been checking out cl to try to find one to roll around the garage. I have built in cabinets and a workbench, but need something to hold tools and parts closer to the patient
>>16034420
>70's house.
That room used to be the garage.
>>16034454
OP here
I don't know what it is about tool boxes/carts but they're always uncomfortably taller than me (wheels are useless other than to move it into its final position) or they're too small (can't fiddle with stuff comfortably and accurately because the cart is too low)
Mechanics deserve the same respect doctors get
>>16034139
>>16034420
I just got the cart on Tuesday so I think I might stop by home depot over the weekend to see what I can find.
I'm assuming they need to be cut to size, correct?
I need a new picture, got a middle box on it now
lol
>customer complaint of aftertreatment derate
