Is Hotrodding still accepted around these parts?
Building up old pushrod motors with the surplus of aftermarket parts?
I know Chevy guys do it, but is that really it?
The old Ford Windsors were great, and obviously so all the old Mopar motors. Yet, cars today are already pretty cammed out.
The coyote motor doesn't even have an aftermarket came available from major retailers.
Is it even worth to build a classic hotrod motor, like a 302W or a 350 Chevy anymore? Is the experience worth it alone over the price to power ratio that it has to compete against today?
Eh for a laugh I don't see why not

au contraire

No, because you can't build something better than what already exists in your backyard unless you're an extremely talented engineer.

$1,800 for the cams. That's just shit engineering decisions right there.
>>16031969
who the fuck drops $1,742.99 on a camshaft. you can get engines for that money.

And this is why China is winning in trade.

If you have an older car with an older block yes.

Yes but not on /o/tism general. It's fun building a 650 hp big block for less than $2k
