Mobil 1>Castrol>Penzoil>Valvoline>Quakerstate>water
Whatever the cheapest synthetic is in your required oil weight.

>falling for the synthethic meme
Wait till 'full synthetic' blends go on sale for 50% off.
Ever since, who was it, castrol? Started partially blending dino base stock and got away with it, everyone does.

Synthetic will replace all lubricating oil eventually. I even run synthetic in my diesel that would say "petroleum oil only" if it were made later than the 80's and it still runs cooler than whatever shit that allows an engine to even go over 200 degrees.
Someone post that website were the guys tested like 1000 different kinds of oils
Nothing but the best for my weebmachine.

That's not true, please stop perpetuating a myth.

it's scented, too
Rotella/Delo400
Depends on your car. Different brand oils can be compared to different brand shoes. Some fit others better, some fit others worse. There's no real danger in trying different oils as long as you use the right viscosity
I run an oil change shop. From my experience:
-Castrol - decent but overpriced
-Mobil - synthetics are good, but semi and mineral are shit
-Agip/Eni - very good, but expensive
-Valvoline - good
-Motul - the best, but expensive
-Lotos - meh, works
-Mannol - shit
-Sort - shit
-Unil - good and cheap
-Shell - good and expensive
-BP - shit (who'd figure, they own Castrol after all)
-Petronas - shit
-Total - decent, awesome gear oils though
-Elf - same as total

I accidentally changed my oil to 5w-20 supertech sy thetic but the actual oil my car needs is 5w-30 is my engine destroy?
>>16032904
Not necessarily so, but its better to change it back to 5w30, 5w20 are desigine with engines with extreme tight clearances.
>>16032913
Okay, but when i go na-t should i keep using the stock oil vicosity? t.i.a.
New, clean, cheap oil beats old, dirty, expensive oil every time.
rotella t6 is literally the best oil

>use mineral oil for motorcycle
>bits of metal shavings in oil
>switch to synthetic
>no metal shavings
Whatever you say buddy.
Valvoline Synthetic, it's the middle of the road.
Just like my body when I eventually crash my bike.
