I drove the Canadian spinoff, the Pontiac Firefly. 55HP of non turbocharged doom. 3 angry squirrels tamed by a 5 speed manual transmission.

I got like 500km per tank on the highway. I took that shit mudding for an interview at a gas plant, took it to Victoria from Calgary in face raping cold -35C. I could not kill that sheet metal death trap.

P.S. I had a bitchin' sound system straight out the pawn shop, and 13" dubs

worst thing i ever drove was also my very first busines venture, i rented an ice cream van off of the robbing bastards in pic related.
they charged a fortune for rental, i could only buy stock from their warehouse and my profit margine was around 1p per item sold until i started selling £10 ice cream cones

now a £10 cone was kinda special, it was my way of selling cannabis resin, i'd drop an 1/8th of an ounce into the cone before topping it with ice cream.
profits went up pretty quickly after that, so much so the Italian family paid me a house visit to ensure i wasn't stocking up on ciggies and sweeties at another warehouse, i don't think they ever figured out how i was making so much money.

the van itself was around 20 years old and falling apart, stunk of diesel fumes and exhaust fumes, wobbled at it drove and seesawed like fuck if you touched the brakes, wallowed around corners and had a top speed of just over 35mph.
the only vehicle i have ever actively disliked driving.

'92 Civic hatch

It was one of my grandpa's cars. I don't know if something was wrong with it, but the slushbox made it horrid to drive.

Coincidentally, I now drive a different Honda that used to be his- an '89 Accord that my mother forced him to stop driving after his interstate commute got it up to 400K miles. Thankfully it has a five-speed, and it's a dream to drive compared to that shitty Civic.

The 6.8 Triton V10 is vastly underpowered for the application. Can hardly get up a 10% grade at 60MPH unloaded in low gear. The older GMC models with the 8.1 had so much more ass.

I fucking hate U-Haul. Once upon a time they seemed to have decent trucks but now it seems like anytime I rent one I get a barely functioning shit barge that can't get up to freeway speed unless you're going down a mountain and they appear to pay rabid monkeys with syphilis to handle their maintenance. Penske at least has nice trucks if you ignore their dipshit governor that likes to disable the fucking engine if you dare to let it go past the limit, even going downhill.

>>16025521

Saw this post and assumed it was behind the license plate, holy fuck, I would have never found it.

Recent worst for me was a non-turbo Veloster. That shit is too slow to even get out of it's own way. A Versa feels like a sports car next to it. Not to mention all the shit plastic everywhere and horrible interior. Same with the Fiestas of a few years ago. Literally rattletraps.
>>
>>16025729
What the fuck are you talking about?

It's perfectly comfy, has enough room for all your shit, gets from 0-100 in about 9 seconds. Fast enough for almost any daily-drive situation and still miles faster than a majority of cars made before the 90s.
It's a good, serviceable car, if you think it's the worst car you've ever driven, you haven't driven many cars.

This one.

Peugeot Partner, was the backup car at the post office where I work. Very small interior, really heavy clutch and heavy doors. Which is not great for mail distribution, which is what this was used for.
>>
>>16025770
No. It's shit. Utter shit at all levels.
>driving position is shit
>gearbox feels like a van gearbox
>steering wheel has no feedback whatsoever, it almost feels like it's disconnected from the wheels themselves (way worse in the 2nd gen)
>has the aesthetics of a broken brick
>dangerously unstable when taking a corner with a litte more speed
>you can't go more than 120km/h on the motorway without it feeling like it'll take off at any moment

>9s from 0 to 100km/h
That's a number only the 1.5 T-Sport will do.
And it's quite irrelevant considering it's shit to drive.
>>
>>16025435
Yeah I kinda figured as much, given how much nicer my manual Accord is despite being a few years older.

With the auto being slow to shift and sapping a bit too much of what little power that poor civic had, the damn thing couldn't get out of its own way.

My first car was a 5-speed Hyundai Accent (2003)- it was a great car, but one of the dealer techs told me the autos in those were horrible too.

One of these fucks, it was the first car I ever drove.

The steering wheel felt so disconnected from the front wheels one would assume they were linked via the internet. The interior was sub-par and felt cramped and flimsy, not to mention it was rattly as well. Seats weren't particularly comfortable or supportive either.

Driving experience was ehh, handling was floaty and it was noisy at speed. Least it was manual, being stuck with a three speed automagic would be absolute hell.

I guessed MkI or Mk2 Transit because of the shaking.
Thats pretty common symptom when the kingpins go.

But back then, it could have been anything from a Morris to a Commer or Bedford.
>>
Was stuck with one of these as a rental for 2 weeks. It is amazing how a car can be so objectively bad in the year 2016. It's like they learned absolutely nothing over the past handful of decades.

I say this having grown up in the 90s driving every shitbox from a hyundai excel to a mercury capri to a geo metro. Any of those would be preferable to being stuck in the patriot again.

Definitely the worst vehicle I have driven, is the Iveco Eurocargo. Holy fucking smokes, batman.
>design goal: as much plastic as possible, everywhere
>whole buzzes loudly at idle due to loose build/rough engine
>nightmare ergonomics - horn button on indicator stalk? exhaust brake and window switches are a long reach away in the center of the dash?
>christmas tree of warning lights on dash, literally changes with the weather
>cruise control sets a speed and then randomly starts runaway acceleration
>clutch air assist cuts in and out plus the take up point varies while you drive

Laughably slow compared to other similar cars (camaro, firebird, more expensive model mustangs)
Pigfat
Numb steering
Bad reputation (almost exclusively why I'm listing it). It literally gets nothing but hate on the interwebs.

Its only redeeming qualities are nothing ever goes wrong and the gearbox makes you feel like a man because muh up and to the right. Also can drift pretty easily.

Don't regret getting it though, just regret purchasing a fucking meme.

>me and cousin went on a drive to a hiking area
>the road to get there has some swerves
>on the way heading back in his accord
>we get to a 40 mph curved road that curved to the left
>he was hitting 60
>I was spaced out
>hear the sound of the tires lose traction
>next thing I know the car is 50-50 grinding on the edge of a ditch and my cousin still trying to get In control of the car like in idiot
>we fall in the ditch side ways
>the car landed flat on all four wheels
>the accord only managed to get a flat
>changing a flat tire in soft sand is no fun

It's like someone photoshopped a bug and a forester together. Still not as bag as THREE PAIRS OF HEADLIGHTS
>>
I didnt actually drove it. I sat on my fathers lap while he changed gears and worked the pedals while i turned the wheel.

Huh, I had an astra for a while and thought it was an alright car, except for all the pedals being under my right foot, simultaneously

You can tell I haven't driven a lot of cars for this one to be the worst. Nothing really wrong with it, but just felt heavy and sloppy compared to my '99 Outback. A lot less interior space, wimpy plant compared to the EJ25D, the slushbox didn't help. Not a bad car by any means, but just kind of a worse Outback.

This thing. Slow, gutless, turning radius of a fucking baseball stadium, weird-ass steering wheel, plastic rattle box, and every time it rains these fuckers flood because the drain holes aren't big enough. You shouldn't need a bilge pump for your car.

Understeer forever, drove like the front tyres were made of that fictional stuff your physics teacher kept talking about, totally frictionless in a vacuum.

Ive worked at dealerships over the past few years so I feel like I'm cheating posting in here

So ignoring anything I drove on the job, a friends Eagle Talon. Oh what a shitbox it was by the time it found itself in his hands
