Shitposting aside: Nah. Just occasionally when my friends named Mary Jane ride in road trips, I let them hit makeshift bongs they create out of water bottles. Occasionally a joint, too. This occurs once a month and the smell dissipates when you're going 130 on the highway with all the windows down.

Be careful with a joint, though. The highway smokes half of it for you if you have the windows down.

Here's an upside: smoke a pipe with non-flavoured tobacco (Dunhill Night Cap, Davidoff English / Blue, etc) and your entire car (or trucc) will smell like a good scented candle.

I have a guy I say hi to in Toronto whenever we pass each other. He also has a red trucc and smokes cigars on the heavy/moderate commute downtown / uptown.

I smoke cigars, cigarettes, e-cigs*, joints, spliffs, blunts, one-hitters, chillums, bowls, and the occasional freebase vape off of tinfoil in my cars. Mostly blunts and cigars (pic related for both).

Both of my cars are convertibles, and I have the top off 70%+ of the time. I've never had anyone (including my retired veteran parents) say anything about it smelling like smoke.

* A benefit to e-cigs or box mods is that you can vape them with the top off and windows down even at highway speeds.

Shit won't even get you high. If anything, mids with only a couple seeds an ounce are the way to go. Still burns good, has some flavor, zips under $100 and you can just roll gram blunts to yourself and get a little buzz.

I quit just before oil and wax were starting to hit hard and idk why people smoke it so much. I would get down on bubble hash a lot when it came around and it was straight but when it ran out and I had to go back to green, even the best buds wouldn't even get me stoned.

Best was just having an ounce of some good work weed (like $250 zips then) and then having an eight of the fire ($350+ per ounce). Good weed has def gotten cheaper even in non-legal states over the past 10 years. Kinda sucks for the growers but the people bringing in the pounds from CO to the midwest are doing pretty good and even the little guys selling grams like getting the kill for <$300 an ounce.

Speaking of smoking in cars, can we agree that the best way to smoke in a car is a pipe?

I almost always smoke pipe tobacco with the occasional cigar, but I tried smoking a cigarette in my car once. Awful. I kept worrying about the ash, which went all over me and the seats, the ashtray got stained and everything was useless. Meanwhile, with my pipe, I pack it well, light it up and puff away, pausing to tamp at traffic lights or just tamp with my thumb if I'm on a motorway. All the ash is contained within the pipe, I don't have to stop so I can smoke said pipe for about an hour or so before it's out and not have to fiddle around while driving.
