Post car interiors you would actually want in your car

Actually not bad. As for current luxury makes, there's only two that still produce interiors I actually like; Lexus and BMW.
Ultimate comfymobile.
I wouldn't want just the interior though, I'd want the hydropneumatic suspension to go wth it.

As for current MB, I just find their interiors unbelievably tacky and overall disgusting. They reek of "HEY GUYS THIS LOOKS EXPENSIVE PLS BUY IT" instead of actually designing something I'd want to sit in.

Audi's kept things fairly classy, though I prefer the last gen.

God damn Google. Anyway, Ferd took the opposite route (at least with Panther models) and made comfy-ass interiors that don't look particularly expensive or impressive however it's still very well designed, I appreciate that sort of thing. Town Cars also had some of the best leather seats I've sat in, can't attest to Mercury or whether they use different seats, though.

Why is bmw considered luxury? It's just "soft touch" plastic everywhere. Hell even an accord is full of that
>>16018700
I think that's a 2-series. The competition doesn't seem to be much better.

Why do auto makers have such a boner for these stupid tablet looking displays? They look like shit-tier off brand tablets glued onto the dash, and completely ruin the look of any interior, jutting out hideously.

Really not a fan of the B9 but the B8 is one of my favorite interiors of all time. Couldn't include it in my blog because of the "current" part though.

Because it attempts to retain driver dynamics and performance and isn't really comparable to "full" luxury makes as it's more of a mix, as such needs to compromise some luxury to keep weight down [relatively] and suspension not-floaty. I don't know what your criteria of a luxury car is but when I look at an Accord interior it makes me ponder things I'd rather do than sit in one, such as stapling my balls to a mailbox. The current 3 series is meh but the 2 series is a great car.
Seriously look at this shit, god dammit Honda you used to make great interiors, what the fuck happened after about 2005-ish?

>they're cheaper
>>16018725
Because FUTURE. Everything these days is controlled via touchscreen.
>>16018736
touchscreen is fine, but make it flush with the dash ffs
>>16018733
these are supposed to be luxury cars, no?
>>16018673
Fuck this is so simple
>>16018744
And it has a well integrated display, and it even has a god-damn digidash.
>>16018707
Even the 5-series has metric tons of plastic, it's awful.
The center console really bugs me. Instead of opening up, it splits in the middle and has absolutely no space in it. My phone barely fits in the fucking thing. The driving dynamics really aren't that special, after being stuck with multiple new 5-series models, I'd get an E-Class over one any day. Hell, I'd get a Lexus over it any day.

OP is literally Australian GM (Holden) uncucked by shekels or 'market trends' to make pigfat crossovers with engine noise blown through the speaker. Actually all the Holden concept cars are pretty good considering that they are essentially GM with a tenth of the money and resources.

Honda not being autistic, this is an example of what they do well when they are at their best: Technology and stylish futuristic design for affordable costs, but they always seem lacking in performance and personality.

I have both a town car and a Grand Marquis. They are both about equal levels of comfy.
Putting Aesthetics aside for one moment though, no car can hold a candle to the sheer comfort of the Fleetwood Talisman.
My grandfather actually had one of these when I was growing up. His was a 1974 and it was Green.
> little-known trivia; driver side airbag were an option for that year Cadillac they're even visible in some of the image searches for the Fleetwood Talisman
I love it all except the shift knob

Why is the gas pedal sideways? Doesn't it make heel-toe unnecessarily complicated?
>>16019130
Patrician choice.

Most bland interior I've ever seen. I understand form follows function but that is just depressing. Is that an evo?
This in old vw polo car
>>16018707
I really like the A1&A3 interior. When the display is hidden the interior feels very slim and clean for a modern car.
Honda, I love you.
>>16018664
This plastic looks disgusting. I can only imagine how hard and scratchy it must feel when you touch it with your fingernails.
>premium german interior quality
My 1999 Civic has a better dashboard material (not saying it's better looking)
It's dated but I love it.
I'll just take the whole car.
