Post your winter beater, /o/

i don't live in a cold shithole where it snows :^)
>>16012241
>Doesn't get to experience comfy season
Sucks to be you.
Enjoy your skin cancer and misquote bites.
all year beater more like
>>16012318
Do you swap the tires?
>>16012230
Summer is over so my car rests in the backyard in a car cover.
Till then, it's the bus until I can pick up an actual daily driver.
Mounting up snow tires on cheap steelies tomorrow, need to do the T-belt and accessory belts before it gets too cold.
>>16012255
No mosquitos where I am, they can't survive the heat :^)
>>16012462
ayyy
Pretty comfy winter car desu.
>>16012482
For sure. I've actually never owned a car with heated seats before so it's been quite a revelation. A total steal at the $1600 that I paid for this thing.
>>16012401
????
i dont get it, what's the point of your car then
>>16012497
To be a IRL meme master only in the spring and summer tho.
>>16012519
dont you mean summer and fall? spring still has salt on the roads
>>16012535
Fall is non existent here, it goes straight into rain season but spring isn't bad, they mainly just start spraying salt in december to febuary here.
>>16012493
lol actually the driver's side heated seat doesn't work in my car. Also the ABS and traction control dont work.
Kinda funny that three things that would probably be the best to have in the winter don't work on my winter car. I cant be fucked to fix it though. I used to turn the traction control off anyway when it did work because all it does is completely cut power when it detects wheel slip.
Started rusting last winter, it's such a piece of shit that I'm looking to just scrap it out in about two years or so.
>>16012480
A blessing and a curse.
>>16012318
california?
>>16012623
You get used to high temperatures really quickly, temps range from 75-110 Fahrenheit where I'm at.
REALLY need to flush the heater core this year. The heat in this thing sucks, otherwise it's the perfect winter beater.
>>16013047
Do you do an oil bath?
>>16013159
>hitop pickup
>>16013159
Without 21" of snow
>>16013047
All the area's I'm concerned with are painted over with chassis saver. I need to do the bottoms of the doors this year, but I'm honestly afraid to grind off that shitty undercoat that's already on them from the P.O. Pretty sure there's a decent amount of rot at the door bottoms.

>Durangutang
I absolutely love these cars even though I've never owned or driven one
get at muh vATE
>>16013222
i just wish i could get one in a 5speed manual for fucking around with..
great snow rigs and pretty damn comfy.
>>16013254
>comfy
I think thats why I like them. I've ridden in them before, and they are super comfortable the seats are surprisingly fantastic in them.
And IMO it's one of the few cars that can pull of that late 90's early 2000's aesthetic of having everything be rounded
>captcha: Blue Pimpin
Not even joking. Sublime.
>>16012230
You mean my year round beater / weekend warrior / daily driver / hauling shit bitch?
>>16013279
Before uncovering
>>16012230
Just picked this up a few weeks ago (same as pictured) and I'll be doing some work on it, but it'll be ready for the winter. Yes, it has the Northstar, but I'm not worried about the head gaskets. I got it cheap enough I could just sell it if that comes along, but it was mostly the late 90's that really need to worried about.
only pic I have on this pc

>>16018796
Hells yeah. Those Chevy diesels like to get fucking amped in the morning.
I just changed the wheels on my IS300 to my winter set. Kind of bummed I'm not gonna be on sweet sweet summer tires for the next 6 months.
I can't afford more than one car, and it's already pretty rusty, so I deal
