Waiting on craigslist ads and came across this thing for $1900:
http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/city-of-toronto/jeep-wrangler-yj/1207753364?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

worth or not? the extra body work would probably take 20-30 hours and cost another $2000 (lift, welding, actual tyres)

pic definitely not related

>Buying Chrysler products after the 80s
>What engine?
>247K
>TWO HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN THOUSAND MILES
>>
>>16005522
that's kilometres, anon. so that's 155 000 miles
I just asked him about the engine. hoping it's the I6 carb.

also, is there really no satiating you people? on the last jeep thread i posted, i was apparently OK since i was going to get a CJ7 from '85 and as long as it's "after 2004", it's good.
but apparently 1991 is where the soviet union and chrysler collapsed

Looks good to me, man. I just bought a ZJ myself of similar age for $750
>>
>2.5 litre injection
eh. i'd rather wait for one of the I-6s at this point, would you?

>>16006272
yeah you posted on my last jeep thread - how does it compare to the wrangler / cj series?
>>
>>16005599
Its a I6 fuel injected if its a manual. they stopped making the carb'd in 1990.
>>
>>16006379
an I-6 2.5litre? are you sure? also, i thought the carbs carried on until like 2004. ima google this shit

"Engine 2.5 L AMC 150 I4
Complete engine specs[show]
4.0 L AMC 242 I6
Complete engine specs[8][show]
4.2 L AMC 258 I6"
Looks like the carbs were discontinued then, though. But it's a dinky little I-4 that makes an abysmal 130 horsepower
>>
>>16006432
I got it wrong. I didnt realize they offered the 4 in manual.
>>
>>16006636
No worries - what would your opinion on an inline 4 for a jeep yj be? just wait for a 6 cylinder? that's essentially what i did with my Ranger since I refused to settle for the weak 2.3 or 3.0L
>>
>>16006360
Cherokees are pretty different from wranglers and it has its problems. Looks like I'm going to be replacing its radiator but when shit is so cheap you can afford it.
>>
>>16007230
I would wait for the i6. The 4 is really underpowered.
