That would depend (I think) on if it had sport package or not as they had the lower speed limiter based on tire speed rating. I mean I've gone 140mph in an autotragic e30 and 145 in an autotragic e36. They are geared really high. And I know my brother has hit the 155mph limiter in his e92 328i sport package many times.

130 riding in a 90s 911 at Laguna Seca, rode in a historic trans am series Camero later that day that must have had 800 horsepower. Didn't see the speed but it made the Porsche feel slow. Probably 150 at the very least.

Rode in the last Viper (if you're seen American top gear, that exact black one) driven around Buttonwillow by a Mercedes test driver. Fuck was that fast.
