Do you want to be comfy and not get raped by a mechanic and have a good car or do you want to look like a nouveau riche faggot? Stop trying to spend money you don't have on things you don't need to impress people you don't like.
>>
>>16000888
What he said >>16001046

>>16001127
But between the OP and this comment, you don't seem very intelligent so I'm sure you will buy a POS Audi anyway and it will need $7k worth of work within 3 months that you can't afford and will be back on the bus.

Have fun!

For real though, if you are going to do German, try to find something with a naturally aspirated 6cyl and check every square inch of the car for rust. Google the common spots for rust on the models you are looking at and check those out really good.
>>
The US Passats are boring as fuck.

You can get a pretty decent 2010+ CC for that price and still have room for mods. which is still on the B6 platform and theres plenty of affordable mods.

you get the aftermarket support of a GTI (Same Engine) and the looks of a CLA and the room of an A6

The CC is probably your best bet imo
>>
buick regal op... they're cheap and comfy

this is actually deity tier advice

>cheap
>almost all older drivers
>not driven hard
>cheap to insure
>is essentially a chevy impala
>not stolen much
>cheap to work on
>technically a luxury brand
>comfy ride

The v6 is not very fuel efficient, but for $10k you can get one in excellent condition.

Note that the 1st gen lacrosse, replaced the 4th gen regal. But the lacrosse moved up a segment and was replaced by the 5th gen regal. But all are tarted up Impalas.

Get a Lexus ES or LS retard.

You could probably get into An early LS430 with around 150k miles for $10k. I just got a mint 06 with 55k miles for under $16k.

If you want comfort, you'll be hard pressed to find more comfort (while being reliable ) for even twice your budget.

Forget the meme kraut shit. Tht stuff is ok if you are a mechanic or have a lot of time and money to keep them going.

Mercedes are fancy and pretty cheap used thanks to their insane depreciation rates. They're pretty reliable too. I've had a C-Class since high school and literally nothing on it has gone wrong with it other than the roof fabric sagging and a weird issue with headlight bulbs prematurely burning out every 4-6 months, but those are $5 so it's not really a big issue..
>>
>>16000000
check em
>>
>>16003680
You either have a crack in the housing or you are touching the bulbs with your hands and the oils are getting to them.

Either way 6mos isn't that big of a deal, I would just keep replacing the bulbs.

Is it a V6? I agree with you though, the reliability thing is somewhat of a meme. If you get a 6cyl C-Class or 3-Series, the cars hold up fairly well. OEM parts will be a little more pricey than a Cavalier, but that's what happens when you want a nice ride.

An old S-Class is a different story. There is a lot more stuff to break so be prepared.
>>
>>16001693

Seriously if you have 10k for an "entry level luxury" car either get something Japanese or prepare your anus for regular $1k+ repair bills

OP git a Lexacunt ES Tree Fiddy

This is a 2007 almost 115k mi looks like new, reliable as hell, low maintenance, pleb-appeal badge, basically a V6 Camry so many some parts if you wanna lower/VIPPU etc.

but id suggest against modding a Lexus, usually looks tacky

Yeah, brand new, paid for by the first owner, i.e. not you. Otherwise why would you defend tardo who said buying a 10k BMW to pick up chicks was a good idea? Because you're so "rich"?

Caught in your own web of bullshit you stupid asshole. I'm glad people like you are poor so I can rest you live far the fuck away from me.

If you really like and look for comfort, try Citroen C6.
>>
>>16003766
Pretty sure it's a crack somewhere in the housing. It usually only happens after it's rained hard or I've been to the carwash, so I think water is getting into the housing somehow. I was hit head on in it 4 years back and at the time it looked like the only thing that happened to the Mercedes was the bumper fell off and a radiator hose popped out, but there's probably lot's of small damage I can't see.

And yeah, I haven't found the meme about Mercedes being unreliable to be true at all. My grandparents also have a 17 year old S-Class and all that's gone wrong on it so far is the power headrest on the drivers seat died and the air suspension slowly went out over a few years. Best friends family also bought a GLK at launch and have yet to have a single issue with it. I live in Los Angeles where literally every fifth car is a C-Class so Merc parts are almost as cheap as Accord & Camry parts. I'm basically paying the same as my dad is to maintain his old Camry right now.
>>
>>16004044
You need a used BMW shitbox to get blown? Are you ugly?

Also if you only have a budget of $10,000, you are in fact, a poor fag.
>>
>entry level luxury car
early 90's Lincoln Town Car, Cartier edition if you're feeling frisky. $5,000 for a nice one and you'll be riding in more comfort than everyone with a modern economy car. The tow package has air suspension which is extra comfy but also produces more mechanical problems than normal springs.
>>
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/5767923882.html

Is this any good? Price is lower than others, lower mileage and clean title. Shame it's grey, such a boring color, but other then that i think I'm alright with the car
>>
>>16005678
Correct. Not a problem assuming otherwise good condition and the already minimal maint is done.

The v6 and v8 motors use timing belts that is like an $800 job every 100k miles. The more recent motors may have timing chains, but will be out of your price range.

Don't let anyone tell you that they are the same thing as toyotas. Even the newer es350's are much nicer than any Camry. The LS is in a class of its own.
>>
>>16005688
Only for yurop, sadly.
They're ultra-comfy (nothing this side of a Rolls-Royce rides better) and go for as little as 5k, but if the suspension gets fucked, so does your wallet.

that's a good one, glance over the maintenance records but seems legit.

i'm the owner of the 2007 ES350, and would totally sell mine and snipe you on that LS if it weren't for the fact that I live in SF city and cant fit that big of a landyacht in my carage
>>
>>16000888
If you're looking at a 328 or A4, then also consider an IS350 F-Sport. Driving feel is best in class (IMO) and the interior is nice. It's about the same as 328i and A4 price-wise, but it makes more peak power and it's an N/A engine so it has a nice linear power band.

If you're looking to spend a bit more, the 2017 S4 and Jaguar XE are both pretty nice.
>>
Is the ES essentially a glorified Camry that also drives like one? I fucking hate my family's Camry, dog of a transmission
>>
>>16007964
The ES is based on the Avalon. It's a pretty smooth car and is comfy, but not even remotely engaging. The transmission shifts smoothly.
>>
Buy 10 1000 dollar corollas
>>
>>16007964
>>16007972
For the record, the only Lexus cars based on Toyotas are the CT (Prius) and ES (Avalon). The other cars are Lexus RWD platforms/engines.
>>
>>16007972
Ok that's good to hear. The main problem I have with my camry is that it's both rough and just unresponsive when I need quick throttle response

Any ES you're looking at will prly be Camry based. Only the latest gen ES's are the first ones to be based on the Avalon platform.

Lexus throttle response is always slow. Maybe the new models are better since Lexus is aggressively ramping up its sporty image to appeal to our generation as their older customer base who only wanted smooth-riding grandpa golf carts are dying out due to age.
