Rfactor 2 can handle different mods at the same time fine. The autistic p1 racing league we did last year had the Apex gt3 cars, the BTCC and the game was fine.
And IMSA uses P2s, PCs, GTEs and GT3s at the same races. I'm pretty sure we can use these cars together fine too. The flat six is easy to learn and control, with a simple setup to work with, the GT3s are very friendly to drivers that are not in risto levels of fast, along with interesting cars to choose from(bentley, M6 soon, lambo and camaro), and the P2s could be used by the tryhards and slower drivers alike, since they are more forgiving than P1s. Meanwhile the turd GTE cars are outdated(458 instead of 488 and the retired Z4), the P2s only have the fucking oreca making a spec class, and the for the P1s they opted to make the special snowflake FWD disgrace of a racecar).
And if we ditch the P1 class we can use shorter and more fun tracks too, like road atlanta,and other tracks with similar size, so all the cars will be packed tight, even if the turnout is below 20, like RANWEC in suzuka, which was fucking boring racing in. 5 P2s, 6 GTEs and 4 P1s in 2 minute circuit.

While that statement is true, nobody else will roll out a similar mod for RF2 yet(simtek has the new car in the making), since enduracers pretty much made one that has a good following and it actually got updated lately, which made much better.

Racing ran pretty similar to a real wec race. A race of attrition and track position rather than constant swapping of position. Standard stuff for any endurance race really.

I don't believe ranek will change anything car related any time soon. But feel free to make your own imsa inspired series if you want it.

The cars don't inspire any good racing, especially not for a group of people or as a spec series. Less confident drivers using even a tick more rear wing will have no hope of keeping up with the pack. It's not a good car for our needs.

The only decent easy car/series of rF2 to do is Clio Cup and we've never done anything over pickups with it. No need to do another series but if there's enough interest we can run more pickups. The problem is that people whine loudly in the threads and then either don't start the races they want or don't even show up.

If you host something people are interested in, they'll show up. The bar is pretty low since a lot of people here still want to race even though the thread may make it appear the opposite.

Like I said I never used any assists in braking with most cars I used in simracing. And I'm not surprised by the lack of abs. Enduracers disabled the auto blip too. Mayve it can be enabled from the data files? I'm a good enough at braking so I didn't need it in the flat six. That said did find them way too sensitive, but I moved the bias a bit in the back, tried smoother inputs and it was fine. I tried it in sebring, suzuka and sonoma, and I was barely locking the inside wheel.

I know. So what? I'd like to drive a legit GT500 car in delicious rf2 (or maybe even iR) instead of a console game. Currently entered car bodies in GT500 by Nissan are the R35 GT-Rs, same as since 2008. Gimme any of dat before it changes into like what the Scirocco is to LFS - ded in reality before arrival in game.

For a simracing spec-car or single-make series, that's totally true - for my example of SGT500 it doesn't matter if it's on the mother chassis or not when everybody has the same car, and for your example basically nobody can handle the 600hp V8SC for 10 consecutive laps, and nearly the same result happens if you road-race the NASCAR instead.
