I went to a concert in Dallas, it let out at about 11:50pm on a Friday. Midnight traffic on a weekend in Dallas is insane, but I passed this other miata, and then we played cat and mouse down the 5 lane highway at 100+mph. Then he honked, gave me a thumbs up, exited off, and that was that. Just two NAs passing in the night.

I don`t remember... My current car is so expensive to maintain, that I don`t dare to drive it in a "fun" way.

My car is a fwd auto Corolla that has been previously totaled and junkyard engine swapped (with the yellow chalk # still on it) from it's family hauler degenerate previous owners who's community college parking and gay pride stickers I razored off the glass and bumper.

It's by no means a sport/performance car, but it's cheap, short wheelbase/light, feels good, and the tires I bought hang on for dear life.
As much as I want for more, I can still say with a straight face my 1999 auto Corolla is fun to drive and I enjoy pushing what little there is to push.

I have fun every time I drive. I powerslide everywhere and redline all over the place. I went cruising in the Wrangler (3.6 dohc 6-speed 2-door) with the top off today and smoked the tires in traffic a few times lol (in RWD with the 'assists' disabled).

/o/-unrelated... about a week ago when I was binging on opium. I'm planning to get /dis/sed out and play fallout 3 tomorrow night though which is always fun...

...I haven't smoked weed since august '15 when I moved (haven't found any since) so that kinda brings me down a bit. I've been using increasingly large amounts of hard drugs since to cope, but really, weed is a quality of life thing and hard drugs are more fun at times but the withdrawals and the lying and the secrecy are getting to me.

I have fun every day when I'm driving. It doesn't matter what car it's in, I find a way to have fun in it.

Truth be told, for those that throw their old beaters under the bus, the most fun I have isn't in my 500whp WRX or my Supra, it's in my old ass 1996 Honda Accord.

Why? Because I can beat the fuck out of it and it keeps on going and it's the only car I don't need to actually worry about, so I just let it rip. Flying around turns, mashing the gas always, redlining it, offroading it (pic-related is difficult to get to in jeeps and shit and I still managed), whatever it may be, it's fun.

Don't get me wrong, driving the other two, I have fun sure, but I never want to push it very much in fear of something happening to them. So be happy now, while you're driving your shitbox like it's a racecar, because when you have a racecar, you like it too much to want it to break.
