Toyota is going to make a pure battery EV version of this car. Will probably be a 60 kilowatt battery. So it has a 200 mile range and compete against the Model 3 and Bolt.

Maybe they will come up with one cheap EV, but definetly not with a battery powered Mirai.
Mirai is a standalone technical platform for Toyotas hydrogen class only.

It's just an unibody with storage space under the floor, place for fwd electric drivetrain in front and very basic suspension. Put the batteries where hydrogen tanks were and you're good to go.
