Why do people forget how to drive around police cars?

Most people on the road are extremely poor.

Interactions with LEOs cost a shit ton of money and the percentage of money rises with how poor you are. So poorfags would rather drive 3mph under the speed limit when the LEO is nearby than risk ruining their already ruined life.

Cops here in Michigan usually dont care about speeders. Atleast the state cops dont. I like to drive 70 on 55 streets and 75-90 on highways and I never been pulled over once. Not to say i never will be. I also have illegal tint and the cops dont bother me about it either. All the "state boys" care about is harassing truckers and responding to accidents.

I saw cops pull a guy driving an F430 once, he wasn't even going above the speed limit, i suppose they pulled him because he accelerated a bit and the engine roared, so they had an excuse to say he was putting lives in danger.

Cops act similar to this down in Arkansas, meth is still a pretty big problem down here. Got pulled over for going 77 in a 55, and I only got a warning.most, including cops go 70 on this road, because it's a country road with long straights and not too many things to hit.

That being said police in some suburban towns around Little Rock will pull you over for anything. So if for some reason an anon comes down here, slow down if your driving though Cabot, Sherwood or Maumelle, they ticket a lot of people down there

I live in Laguna Beach and the police here are absolutely absurdly bored at pretty much all times. Since it's a small town with a small police force, all the regular cops are also swat so they carry AR-15s and tons of body armor in their trunks.

A few years back when California had the whole police car revamp intitiative and the guv was pushing the challengers as PD interceptors, Laguna Beach PD declined taking the new cars and the big chunk of grant money that came with them. There was a big uproar from the town because Laguna Beach loooooves extra money and the PD kept refusing to take it. Later everyone finds out its because the crown Vic interceptors they've been using are engine swapped viper v-10s with super chargers and are tuned to the fucking moon.

LBPD's response to the hullabaloo? They state that the challengers are too slow to catch any of the speeders in town because most of the ridiculous speeding is done by rich assholes in exotics and supers.

I had this experience once when i went on a road trip. I was already previoulsly pulled over that day and charged for speeding. You can then imagine that I was extra careful from then on. Drive further down for an hour, and I see a cop and I'm trying my best to follow everything. He decides to go under speed limit, and the road verges into one lane due to construction. I try to slow down, but he goes even slower. I try not to pass him, but eventually go ahead when he slowed down 15 below limit, and I figured being within limit, I could pass him. NOPE. get pulled over and searched for an hour. fuck the police.

There's always bullshit in a lot of states. Example: In New York, local courts can add up to $93 in court fees to any traffic ticket.

So 4mph over may be a $20 or $30 ticket, but add court fees and it's easily over $100.
