As far as Ferd building something above the Mustang to compete with the Corvette instead of thr Camaro, I'm guessing they're worried about the money.

The Corvette has been developing into what it is today over decades and decades so when they want to put a new model out, they already have their fiberglass techniques and transaxle and all that shit figured out somewhat so they didn't have to pour a ton of R&D into every single part of the car.

If Ferd were to make a car to compete with the Corvette at a similar price point, it would take a lot of time and money and probably take years and years of good sales to make up for that.

I'm sure they aren't making shit selling the new GT at $400k, but at least it's exclusive so they can charge a bunch. Plus building that car is basically one giant advertisement for Ford.

it's funni because as of now that gtr(nismo) costs almost twice as much as a z06 and for 5k or fuck probably less you can kick up the boost and get 700rwhp, I know you can do that on the GTR even easier but at that point your still 20k under a base gtr with a tune
