If I were to get something newer it'd be a long box 4x4 auto. Ford 5.0 or Chevy 5.3

But if you're dailying a truck, 4x4 is overrated unless you live somewhere where it snows terribly.

Ideally if I could have any truck, it'd be a mint 12v 2nd gen Cummins extended cab long bed single rear wheel.
