Find a 360, non-magnum block on Ebay and build it. Satellites can handle big blocks but that depends on how many feet per gallon you want to get.
Put a Thermoquad on there. TQs are cheap and get damn good performance.

I know they won't be cheap. I meant cheap as in compared to some one the 20k+ crate engines. I can get one for 3-5k to drop in there.

Something about poorer oiling. What i know for sure is the cylinders are slightly shorter.
Take that as you will but that makes it harder to stroke the engine if you chose to do so.

My bad, the magnums have a slightly shorter deck height.
2bh building an engine isn't too hard as long as you do it step by step and check your work.
There was a torrent linked to /o/ a while ago that had a bunch of pdfs and a DVD, the DVD was specifically about engine rebuilding.
