Then ask the seller if he's okay with bringing the car into a shop for pre purchase inspection, if he says no walk away. To date I've only had to replace 2 cam sensors, a rear wheel bearing, /and a new set of tires (which I don't really count because I track the car). I had the immobilizer deactivated as it started to not recognize my key this summer.

Oh and oil consumption is negligible.

They are good, reliable, fun cars but some have been dogged so take your time and really check it out. Try to find the least notchy gearbox you can.

I have a 2008 Z with 137k on it. Only car I've owned that doesnt burn a single drop. There was a recall where they replaced motors in like 05 for burning oil. The HR's do not do this.
