Should I buy this 2008 350z for $12,500? Really considering it.
No, if I were you, I'd try to haggle him down to 14 or 15 thousand.

$12,500 < $14,000
fucking retard KYS
>>15953696
Fine, $16k but not a penny more. Final offer.
>>15953696
summerfags still around eh?
>>15953517
Pretty sure thats the HR engine in the 08s. Can burn oil but >dat redline is worth it
Also it better be manual
>>15953978
of course, thats why I want to get it. always wanted a manual

Alright listen here faggot, Ask seller for VIN if he refuses walk away if not, post it in VIN thread and wait results. Then ask the seller if he's okay with bringing the car into a shop for pre purchase inspection, if he says no walk away. Make sure the car has appropriate service records matching the mileage, if not RUN 12,500 seems a bit low, How many miles? i wouldn't buy a Z with over 100k miles considering how many clean low mile'd ones are out there for CHEAP

Hello new friend
>>15953517
There are alot better cars for 12.5 out there.
>>15954264
Not OP but you are very wrong, a lightly used 350z is a great deal. Name one car that's better at that price

C4/C5 vette

350z owner reporting in.
>2003 6MT Touring
>bought it 6 years ago with 60k on the odo
>currently at 125k
>6 track days a year
>90% of work is DIY-able
To date I've only had to replace 2 cam sensors, a rear wheel bearing, /and a new set of tires (which I don't really count because I track the car). I had the immobilizer deactivated as it started to not recognize my key this summer.
Oh and oil consumption is negligible.
They are good, reliable, fun cars but some have been dogged so take your time and really check it out. Try to find the least notchy gearbox you can.

I have a 2008 Z with 137k on it. Only car I've owned that doesnt burn a single drop. There was a recall where they replaced motors in like 05 for burning oil. The HR's do not do this.
>>15955561
Its a cool car. But if the OP wants something nimble, the Z is a better choice. Stock to stock the Z would leave the goat for dead up a mountain road. Love the LS though.
>>15955727
but the hrs have rev hang.
>>15953517
>>15955883
wut
>>15953517
Thats a pretty good price for an 08, as long as miles are low and condition is good.
>>15953978
The 06 HR engine burns oil, they fixed it in 07 and 08.
>>15955887
you are a bit late lol
>>15956216
The 06 is not an HR. It's a 'rev up'. 75% of the engine was changed in 2007 when they went to the HR.
