I own a turbo Legacy and I can confirm this. 250hp stock. Could drop an sti engine in it pretty easily.

If you have a BP/BL Legacy, you *already* have an STI engine, minus a bigger turbo and intercooler.

volvos and saabs are beastly, comfy, classy, and they really fly under the radar with the 5-0. cops stop jap shitboxes with fart cans all the damn time around here but are none the wiser when it comes to sleeper wagons and sedans.
if roomy and comfy is what you need then get a volvo wagon, they have lots of room no joke you could use it as a temporary home if your in a bad spot.
Last 3 generations of Toyota Chaser/Cresta/Mk. II. Can be made silly fast like any car with a JZ-GTE engine.
old bmw wagons

Depending, if you want us or not. Chevrolet Caprice Classic sedan/STW(3rd or 4th gen)(or other GM makes) or similar Ford/Mercury. Might not be the lightest, but you have 5.7 liters to work with(5.0, if you go Ford).
If you want euro, then Volvos and Saabs are good choice, Ford Mondeo could also be one.
I donĀ“t know much about japanese cars, but Toyotas seem to be the most boring ones, so Avensis???

I <3 my chaser

The Ford equivalent of the Caprice/Roadmaster would be the Panther platform (Crown Vic/Grand Marquis/Town Car), which from '92 onwards uses the 4.6 Modular, not the older 5.0.

9-5 with VR rims.
Such madness.
It's like mixing IKEA with Bofors
if you want rwd >volvo
if you want more power factory and don't care about fwd >saab

Cressida/Volvo.
Could you guys give examples of Volvo cars projects?
Just wonder what it is possible to make with it.
Also they are such cheap for old ones.

I'm pretty sure that this can be turned into a sleeper but has anyone owned one?
Volvo. Best way to go 760 turbo diesel is my preference because rolling coal in a volvo is fun but really 240s 740s 940s are the shit

I also own one of these fuckers. The hilarious part is how sluggish they are below 40mph.
