What's your favorite Top Gear segment?
>>

Roadtrips, challenges, etc.
>>
>>15938056
Budget challenges
>>
Budget cars were always a goof and a laugh
I hope the grand tour does more of those
>>
>>15938056
Everything roadtrip related, especially stuff like the economy race to Blackpool or the Car vs Public Transport races (SLR vs Boat to Oslo; GTR vs Train in Japan; GT500 vs Train in France; etc)

But to be fair, everything apart from star in a reasonably priced car was really good.

>literally the segment 99% of people skips

>>15938056
Bolivia
Or any of the Africa's

this.
Even the sportscars reviews got boring after a while despite the holliwood tier production value and camera work

Honestly best were roadtrip challenges especially if they were with second hand cars

Bolivia. I still can't comprehend how they managed to stuff so many events into the Bolivia episode and then require two episodes for doing basically nothing in Patagonia apart from driving over dirt roads for a very long time.
>>
>>15938056
>tfw they removed nearly every season from netflix

Now I'm stuck rewatching the shit tier budget challenges

I always* show people the reliant robin segment when I want to hook new people on topgear.

(*or I used to anyway, hard to argue people should watch a show that went off the air a while ago now)

Like others said, roadtrips and cheap car challenges.

Everything except star in reasonably priced car, shitbox challenges were especially entertaining

Pretty sure everyone loves whatever crazy things they do with a Reliant Robin

I enjoyed the shitbox challenges until it became painfully obvious that it was all scripted, especially in the last two seasons. They added way too much slapstick and it took away from the cars.

One thing they massively improved on was the ride along reviews, that became my favorite part once the show focused more on entertainment. The holy trinity reviews were beautifully shot and edited IMO.

>>
>>15938485
This.

There are like 3 interviews in the entire fucking however many years of episodes i've watched that i actually cared about, the rest are just a waste of mine and everyone elses time.

The roadtrips are sweet, especially when they're harsh and doing shit other people don't. I really want to see them do a roadtrip right across the middle of australia with 3x $5,000 4x4s. I want to see hammond all smug again like the africa trip with a 22R hilux watching the other 2 struggle while just cruising
>>
>>15940321
Hammonds porsche review was fucking incredible.

I'm convinced they managed to duct tape a $20k+ camera to the front of that car to get the through-windscreen shots.
>>
>>15938056
When they did commie cars and actually liked one of them.
>>
>>15940337
Yeah, I loved the new angles they were getting, and the HD quality alone made those segments stand out a lot more.

Lots of good editing and shots in the La Ferrari review, too.

I remember that one interview they all agreed that if one of them ever died on the show, which was always a possibility, they would simply say something along the lines of

"...Now then, moving on to the new Aston Martin..."

I'm afraid not mate, it's called the VAZ-21215.
The Lada Niva Diesel is a four wheel drive off-road vehicle motor car with a front mounted engine, sold by VAZ.
The VAZ Lada Niva Diesel's engine is a naturally aspirated diesel, 1.9 litre, single overhead camshaft 4 cylinder with 2 valves per cylinder. In this application it produces 58 bhp (59 PS/43 kW) of power at 4600 rpm, and maximum torque of 114 N·m (84 lb·ft/11.6 kgm) at 2070 rpm.
The engine supplies its power through to the wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox.
Stated kerb weight is 1190 kg.
It is said to be able to manage a top speed of 125 km/h (78 mph).

I always looked forward to Star in a Resoably Priced Car.
Especially hen it was American Actors, it's nice to know which movie to download once it's being torrented.
It was also a nice change to see glamourous Americans on British TV, we dont usually see many good looking people on the BBC.

The rest of the sow was just 3 guys fooling around in cars making an idiot of themselves or arty farty'lly shot reviews of cars which quite frankly are tacky, over powered, unpractical, over priced and way too flashy for ordinary folks to delude themselves they'll ever be able to drive one.

>original children's song said "nigger"
>nigger never used to be as "un-PC" as it is today
>old people getting wrecked on TV for saying what their head remembers

The 24-hour endurance race. Getting the car fixed to just get back out there and finish was beautiful.

I just realized that the only few people I watched in SIARPC was Michael Fassbender Magneto and Professor Xavier.

Also, F1 drivers. Most especially Kimi Raikkonen because he's based.

Yeah nah bro. I'm not an SJW faggot and I really don't care, but if he seriously thought that would ever make it to air he is a retard.

But he didn't?

It was a leaked real that was never publicly released wherein all he did was mumble.
