Kia is actually better at sport the Hyundai is.

Forte was originally suppose to be 300 hp and go against the SI. Hyundai said no.

The optima came out with 274 hp and was faster then the Genesis Coupe of the same year, Hyundai took the KIA Version and dropped it in Genesis.

Kia Creates a 315 hp 2700lb sport car. Hyundai said no it would invalidate the Gen coupe.

Turbos muffle the engine, and most mufflers will cut exhaust noise. Usually unless a manufacture wants you to hear exhaust noise there wont be any (The corvette for example has a butterfly valve that opens the exhaust at a certain rpm)

Most modern engines are really quiet, they spend lots of time tuning the noise after like using the pipes as a trumpet, there's vids on YouTube about it
