This just sounds like they are future proofing the platform. unlike the LFA the NSX isn't as expensive to manufacture and it will definitely be around for quite some time. that should give Honda some time to fine-tune everything making it faster. If the car really is like Windows technology-wise they should be updating it all the time until its fast as fuck. this NSX is probably much faster in its time than the last NSX was in its own time in the 90s.

Honda had a chance to make a great car and predictably chose not to.
A disappointment to ricers weeaboos and busriders alike, the NSX performance is incommensurate with its engineering and even worse, price tag.
Honda still makes great commuter cars however they should never, ever attempt at building anything labeled a supercar ever again. They've lost that right.
The sooner manufacturers realize that the perfect car is closer to a shifter kart w/recaros than a 'driveable' Tianhe-2, the sooner we can all breath a sigh of relief and possible expect good cars from Japan again. Until then, were stuck with 5000lbs 6 figure pigfat shit boxes that can't even compete with a $30k Camaro.
