Should I /o/?
Should I disregard the maintenance and insurance costs for dat engine?
The bottom end of the market is mids 20s AUD and I can't really see them dropping too much more before they start to appreciate again.
Would be for weekend/rainy days dailying only
look bretty cool with e63 front end too

they're cheap because the hydraulic suspension is shit, i'd recommend converting to coil over spring or air, there's kits for both.

stock is air not hydraulic senpai
But yeah I know what you mean. Would be reluctant to get coilovers because its a pain to convert on this car, and lol resale, plus they don't really suit the car. Would be more inclined to take the hit and replace it with oem once and know its fine for the length of my ownership

regardless, factory suspension is notorious for failing
check out Arnott if you do end up getting an e55 and don't want to convert, they reman OEM suspension components and use better materials.
just make sure to use lube when your mechanics bill fucks you in the ass.

Yeah I've heard good things about Arnott. I guess I might consider coilovers if I got sick of boaty handling. But I have them on my current car and just think they'd be too stiff for this luxobarge
